Swim workout
kicking drills 45 seconds
4 x 100m, 2x 50m concentrating on kicking form
6 x 50m, every 2nd one swim fast, other rep count arm strokes for length of pool, try to longer on each stroke, keep body position extended in the pool
I felt quite out of it this morning. I was put into the top half of the swim group and felt quite winded at many points during the workout. I seem to really have trouble counting things after swimming hard. At the end, I felt good to accomplish it. I want get strong enough so that I belong in the top half (and can have enough oxygen to send to my brain so that I can count).
Run workout 1hr 20min. It took 20-30 min for my head to clear and the snack to kick in, but after that the run felt very comfortable.
It was another gorgeous day today. In the afternoon, we went to Deas Island for a good long walk and the dog had a seriously fun time (I think the rain is getting to her.) Again, I had an energized afternoon.
