Another day off from the workshop

swim workout

30min continuous swim (well sort of, needed water breaks so I swam 3 x 10 min sections)

flip turns are getting better, breathe at the cross, then flip

bike workout

40min at 95-100 rep, 5-10min warmdown

on the stationary bike at the gym watching the olympics, long ski jump and aerials, it’s fun to train to the olympics

A cold run

I’ve got Sunday off from the workshop, so I went with one of the students to meet up with the Running Room’s Sunday group run. The only problem was that it was -20 C with the wind chill (-13). Yuck. I ran the 25min to the Running Room from my hotel and then did a 10k run with a pretty slow run group in 1hr 12min. The route and the people were really nice and the cold wasn’t too bad.

After all of the intense work lately, it was nice to have a 2hr nap in the afternoon after the run.

Saturday Plans

The community centre is open until 7pm today. I’m going to try and rush back after work and get on a bike for as long as I can. Hopefully, there will be some Olympics on, and I can use the mp3/fm player that Will brought from Vancouver for me.

Big surprise, work went later then anticipated. I managed to get a quick 30min of cycling in at the hotel.
