A Wednesday Workout with Intensity

I worked at home today – I would have taken the day off, but I had a few things that really needed getting done.  Needless to say, it was still a much lighter work day.  As a consequence, I had a lot more energy for the Wednesday run workout.  I think I was also running with some extra intensity because of my dismal performance in the race on the weekend.

We did loops around Trafalgar park combined with strength exercises.  I’m feeling the benefits of my extra gym work (but I was also feelin a little sore)

OK, I realize that this is out of the blue, but just in case you’re wondering how come I seem to be too busy to fit any training in lately – it’s because I’ve been knitting like mad. These two guys are a present for my friend Letti. I originally started this project many months back in anticipation of a gift for Letti’s new baby. Summer hit, and I didn’t make that “deadline”. It’s her birthday tomorrow and I’m excited to finally be finished and giving her the gifts. They are quite ridiculous :) .
