Seawall

It was a good day at the Seawall race.  I started easy and paced the race very well.  I missed the 5km marker, so I’m not sure what my split was – but my feeling was that I went at a pretty even pace for the whole race.  My time for the 9.5km race was 44:05.  Here’s a link to the full race results.  I had a nice chat with Steve King who made special mention when my Mum and I crossed the line.  I was happy with this race result.  It was a great crisp and windy day for a run around the seawall.  This 10km time is a new personal best – my goal is to get my 10km time under 45min.

  • 44:05, 9.5km
  • pace per km = 4:38
  • extrapolated time for 10km = 46:24
