Ants in my pants and a bee in my bonnet. That summarizes my day today. I’m all wound up with stress eating me from the inside out. Not exactly the kind of mental pre-workout preparation that “I’m known for”. The track workout was a good break from it all.

Now I’m going to be thinking of animal/insect metaphors all day. My mind’ll be jumping around like a cat on a hot tin roof (sorry, that’s a simile).
To be serious for a moment, hopefully patience will pay off and make it all worthwhile. Hmm, that’s not too inspiring. How about – IT’S FRIDAY!
